US Finance Minister Nuchin: Taking very measures to avoid breaking the debt ceiling

U.S. Treasury Secretary Nuchin Zhou agreed that House Speaker Pelosi said the Treasury is taking special measures to avoid breaking the government debt ceiling.

He said that the Ministry of Finance has suspended investment in the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund, and the "debt suspension period" will start on Monday and last until June 5.

"I would like to call on Congress to take action to raise the statutory debt ceiling as soon as possible to fully protect the confidence of the outside world and the US credit," Nuchin said.
