IP6566 is a step-down converter integrated with synchronous switch, supporting a variety of output fast charge protocols, Type-C output and USB PD2.0/PD3.0(PPS) protocol dual-port output SOC IC, providing a complete solution for car chargers, fast charge adapters and intelligent plugins.
Engic IP6566 supports dual USB Type-C, USB Type-C and USB A, or dual USB A output. The integrated dual-port automatic insertion and removal detection function enables any single port to support fast charging output. When both ports are used at the same time, both ports output 5V, and the total power is 5V/3.4A.
The IP6566 has built-in power MOS. The input voltage range is 8.2V to 32V, and the output voltage range is 3V to 12V. The maximum output power can be 20W, and the output voltage and current can be automatically adjusted according to the identified fast charge protocol. IP6566 output 5V/3A, board end conversion efficiency up to 93.8%.
IP6566 PD output with CV/CC characteristics, when the output current is less than the set value, output CV mode, output voltage is constant; When the output current is greater than the set value, the CC mode is output and the output voltage is reduced. The output voltage of the chip has the function of wire complement. When the output current increases, the output voltage will be increased accordingly to compensate for the voltage drop caused by the connection line impedance.
Yingjixin IP6566 adopts 4*4mm QFN28 package and has soft start function, which can prevent the impact current during startup from affecting the stability of input power supply. The chip has input overvoltage, undervoltage protection, output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit protection and other functions.
