Musk plans to reboot Vine, a short video app

After buying Twitter for $44 billion, Elon Musk is considering resurrecting Vine, a six-second video platform, to compete with TikTok, IGN reported. It is understood that Mr Musk has started having Twitter engineers review old Vine code and work on a reboot of the platform. Shortly before, Musk also launched a "resurrect Vine" poll on Twitter, asking users if they would be interested in bringing Vine back. Sources say Vine's return could be ready by the end of the year.
