Live Activities API. Apple launched ActivityKit in Beta, allowing developers to test Live Activity on the lock screen. For now, however, apps can only deploy these new features through TestFlight. Live Activities provide a real-time overview of information on the lock screen. Sports apps, for example, allow users to follow events from a lock screen.
Enable a new time limit for unsending in the Mail application. In the Mail app for iOS 16, users can unsend an email. In the previous three Beta versions, the time limit for unsending was only 10 seconds, although in the fourth Beta, Apple offered options of 10, 20, and 30 seconds.
