The iPad and Mac don't have the same ecosystem as the iPhone?

While the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the tablet market has seen a certain decline, but in the long run, it still has relatively stable shipments, which is much better than the smartphone market.

So it's no wonder Apple took it easy and hacked off the headphone jack.

In the past two years, the ecology of iPad can not be said to be very good. The mainstream software in China has long given up HD version and turned to the mobile version to make up the numbers. Due to the scaling problem, the visual effect is not very good, and Apple has also given up the mandatory requirement.

It's a shame that the iPad and Mac don't have the same ecosystem as the iPhone, despite Apple's efforts to integrate the ecosystem.

The best you can do is rip through that layer of paper, and since the Mac can run iPhone and iPad apps directly, it makes sense to use macOS on the iPad.

If two relatively weak ecosystems can really complement each other, the change is truly revolutionary.

But apple apparently won't do that for a while, as it was recently reported that the company has delayed the launch of the iPadOS16 until October. Part of the reason is that Apple is still honing a front-of-desk scheduling feature that lets users run multiple tasks at once and resize Windows, among other things.

These features are limited to the M1 series of ipads, not the most widely sold and most widely used entry-level ipads.

Without this feature, the iPadOS update would be nothing to brag about.

Let's hope Apple stops treating the iPad like a big iPhone.
