Digital enthusiasts are no stranger to gray market phones. Parallel goods differ from trade goods in that they are sold directly in a region without a regular sales agent. It has the immediate advantage of being cheap and, accordingly, insecure.
Since its release, the iPhone has been indelibly associated with gray goods. Sometimes it's about price, sometimes it's about functionality, and sometimes it's about getting it quickly.
In recent years, the customs' attention to this, coupled with the price advantage of gray goods no longer, official services are becoming more and more important, gray iphones have faded from public view. Now that the iPhone 14 is out, there's just one more reason not to buy a gray market phone. In many ways, this is a good thing.
