Samsung Galaxy S23+ appeared on Geekbench, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 reached 3.36GHz



Samsung Galaxy S23+ appeared on the Geekbench Bench Bench Bench today. Although it is a U.S. model, it still has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 8GB of RAM. The model is powered by an octagore SoC, codenamed Kalama, with 1+ 4 +3 or 1+2+2+3 cores, with supercores up to 3.36GHz, while three large cores run at 2.80GHz with an integrated Adreno 740 GPU.


The machine will have 8GB of RAM and run Android 13. Geekbench 5 scored 1,485 for a single core and 4,844 for the multi-core portion of the test, according to the results. Compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 single-core 1333 and multi-core 4211, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-core improved by 14% and multi-core improved by 9%.




The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 multi-core running score is comparable to the A15 chip in Apple's iPhone 14.


For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra model SM-S918U, which has appeared on Geekbench, scored 1,521 points for single-core and 4,689 points for multi-core. The Samsung Galaxy S23 model is SM-S911U, with a single-core score of 1524 and a multi-core score of 4597.
