Recently, Honor has released the X40 GT for Snapdragon 888 and the 40 Plus for Tianji 700. Meanwhile, their real flagship Magic5 series is also in preparation. Some of the configuration of the new series has been revealed, and it is likely to be officially unveiled in the first quarter of next year.
It is understood that the Honor Magic5 series will use the rear three camera scheme, the rear main camera is 50 megapixel, telephoto secondary camera 64 megapixel, ultra-wide Angle secondary camera 50 megapixel, but it is not yet confirmed the specific specifications of the three cameras. Given that the Honor Magic5 series will have a one-inch large background master camera, it is likely that the 50-megapixel rear master camera will be the IMX989, the same model as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
In addition, rumor has it that both the ultra wide Angle and the telephoto have a large bottom, so it is likely that the SONY IMX686 will be used for the 64 megapixel telephoto camera, which is 1/1.7 inch, and the IMX766 for the ultra wide Angle camera, which is 1/1.56 inch.
It can be said that if the image configuration is this plan, then the camera hardware specifications are more high-end than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. In other news, earlier leaks revealed that the Magic5 series will have a 6.78/6.81-inch screen, LTPO support and high-frequency PWM dimming, and will be powered by Qualcomm's new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
