Difference between digital servo and analog servo

The conventional analog servo and digital proportional servo (or standard servo) electronic circuits do not have an MCU microcontroller called analog servo. The old analog steering gear is connected to the Wheatstone bridge by a power operational amplifier, etc., and the linkage position sensor is driven by the brushless DC servo motor based on the differential voltage generated by comparing the analog voltage control command and the mechanical feedback voltage. (Potentiometer). Go to the specified position. Digital proportional servo is the best type of analog servo. It consists of a DC servo motor, a DC servo motor controller integrated circuit (IC), a reduction gear set, and a feedback potentiometer. Directly controlled by a DC servo motor control chip that receives the PWM format. Until the DC servo motor control chip detects that the feedback voltage from the position output linkage potentiometer is equal to the average effective voltage of the PWM control drive signal, it controls the drive signal to drive the motor quickly and perform position output. Stopped to complete position output.

Digital ladder electronics with an MCU microcontroller are commonly known as digital servos. Digital servos have a faster response speed than analog servos, have a narrow non-reactive area, and have high positioning accuracy and powerful interference prevention functions. Instead of analog servos, they are widely used in robots and airplanes.
