Nvidia brought the RTX 40 series of graphics cards in late September, including the RTX 4090, RTX 4080 12GB, and RTX 4080 16GB. But Nvidia withdrew the 12GB version of the RTX 4080 after it was met with too much skepticism. Currently, according to Kopite7kimi, a well-known informant in the graphics field, the RTX 4080 12GB, which was recently cut by Nvidia, will be introduced as the RTX 4070 Ti model.
As previously announced by Nvidia, the RTX 4080 12GB features 7,680 CUDA cores and 12GB of Micron GDDR6X video memory, making it more powerful than the previous generation flagship GPU, the RTX 3090 Ti. Currently, it is confirmed that the RTX 4080 16GB will be released on November 16. It is unknown when the renamed RTX 4080 12G will be released.
The Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4070, 4060 and other graphics cards are expected to be released at CES in January 2023.
