Apple's iOS 15.4.1 release fixes iPhone battery drain

Apple recently released iOS15.4, and some users reported poor battery life after the OTA upgrade. The iPhone 11 consumed 80% of its battery power in 24 hours, while the screen lasted only 2 hours, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max lasted only half a day. Some overseas test institutions found that the iPhone 12, iPhone 13 series have a lot of battery life decline, seriously affecting the use of experience.

Apple responded by saying that apps and some phone features need to be tweaked within 48 hours of installing a new version of the operating system, and that changes in battery life are normal and can be monitored for a while.

Earlier this morning, however, Apple officially released the iOS/iPadOS 15.4.1 update to iPhone and iPad users. The update specifically addresses the issue of battery power depleting faster than expected after iOS 15.4 and recommends it for all users.

The update also fixes issues in the iPhone where Braille devices may not respond when navigating text or displaying reminders, and Made for iPhone hearing AIDS may be disconnected in some third-party apps. It's worth noting that this update comes about two weeks after the release of the new iPhone SE and iOS 15.4, which is likely to be the last major feature update before iOS 16.
