Apart from the major size upgrades, the two tablets are pretty similar in terms of hardware and experience. These include a rear-mounted 8-megapixel aperture of F2.4 that allows for wide-gamut photography. It's a bit of a shame, though, that Apple hasn't opened up the smart HDR camera feature for either of these tablets, despite the A12 chip.
Intelligent HDR can synthesize multiple frames of the shooting environment in real time, so as to achieve ultra-high dynamic range. And the resultant effect will be real-time preview on the screen, users can intuitively watch, this function can be used in the iPad Pro, iPhone XS series and iPhone XR phones equipped with A12 chip. It looks like Apple is still trying to differentiate its product line, as a way to highlight the iPad Pro as a flagship.
Both tablets have a 7-megapixel front lens and support 1080p high-definition video shooting.

In terms of battery life, both tablets still get 10 hours of battery life, a number that's really been with every iPad generation since the first one. No matter the size gets bigger or smaller, no matter the bezel gets wider or narrower, no matter the weight gets bigger or smaller, it doesn't matter if it lasts 10 hours in a lifetime, it's 10 hours in a lifetime, it doesn't matter if it's one minute or one second off.
