Apple released the iOS/iPadOS 16.1 release candidate to developers today, with a full release expected next week. According to the official update log, this update mainly introduces iCloud photo sharing gallery, which can share family photos and keep updates. The update also adds support for third-party apps to live events and includes additional features and bug fixes for the iPhone.
The iCloud Photo Library allows users to seamlessly share photos and videos with up to five other users. Live activity from third-party apps can now be displayed on the iPhone 14 Pro's Nimbus Island and Lock screens; Keysharing lets you securely share your car keys, hotel room keys and other keys in your wallet using messaging apps such as Messaging and WhatsApp.
