TMI5810 -- High Efficiency Buck-Boost DC/DC Controller With Bi-directional Charge-discharge Function

In portable power applications, its role is twofold: when the external power supply to charge it, it is the load; When it charges the load, it is the power supply. MI5810 is a high-efficiency synchronous voltage control chip that supports two-way charge-discharge function. Different from the traditional scheme, MCU only needs to control TMI5810 to realize the charge-discharge process in the portable power system using TMI5810, which greatly optimizes the system architecture.
The charge-discharge mode of TMI5810 is controlled by DIR signal: when DIR input is low level, the TMI5810 works in charging mode and charges from the adapter interface (VBUS end) to the battery (VBAT end). When DIR input is high voltage, the TMI5810 works in discharge mode and discharges from the battery (VBAT) to the adapter port (VBUS).
Dynamic adjustment of VBUS discharge voltage: In discharge mode, in addition to changing the partial voltage ratio of FB1, the VBUS voltage can also be dynamically adjusted through PWM signal. The voltage divider resistance of fixed FB1 is unchanged, and PWM signal with frequency of 10kHz~100kHz is input to PWM pin. The output voltage of VBUS is controlled by the duty ratio D of PWM signal.
