Power Adapter Common Fault

Sep 10, 2018|

     First, the line is faulty

Line faults, including power line damage, non-energization, poor contact contact oxidation, etc. Focus on checking whether the input and output lines are powered. If the power adapter is faulty, you can solve it by replacing the power cord.

Second, the output voltage is too low

When the switching power supply load is short-circuited, the output voltage terminal filter capacitor or rectifier diode fails, the performance of the switch tube is degraded, and the switch tube cannot be normally turned on, so that the internal resistance of the power supply increases and the load capacity decreases.

Third, the output voltage is too high

The power supply output voltage is too high and generally comes from the regulated sampling and voltage regulation control circuit.

Fourth, the fuse is normal, no output voltage

The power fuse is normal, and no output voltage indicates that the switch power supply is not working or enters the protection state.

     5. Insurance burns or blows up

Check the rectifier bridge, each diode, the switch tube, and the large filter capacitor on 300 volts.
