No-load power consumption refers to the heat loss of different degrees in the internal components and lines of the power supply when the power supply is connected to the mains and no power consumption equipment is connected. Whether the charger will waste electricity if it is plugged into the socket all the time, and how much electricity will be consumed over the course of a year, Charging Head network tested the no-load power consumption of the charger under two types of mains power environment.

After power meter test, the standby power consumption of the charger at 220V 50Hz is 0.099W, which is converted to about 0.87KW·h a year. If the market price of electricity is 0.6 yuan /KW·h, the charger's electricity cost is about 0.52 yuan a year.


When the charger is 110V 60Hz, the standby power consumption is 0.004W. After conversion, the annual power loss is about 0.04KW·h. If the municipal electricity price is 0.6 yuan /KW·h, the annual electricity cost of the charger is about 0.02 yuan.


After the above tests, the CukTech 65W ultra-thin charger is not used in the socket under the 220V 50Hz mains electricity environment, which consumes about 0.52 yuan a year; If it is not used in the 110V 60Hz mains environment, the electricity cost is about 0.02 yuan a year. At the same time, the no-load power consumption of CukTech 65W ultra-thin charger under 220V power supply is completely lower than the standard of GB20943-2017.
