Xiaomi humanoid bionic robot Tie Da latest development: support drum performance, with music files can tread the spot
Dec 09, 2022| CyberOne, Xiaomi's first full-size humanoid bionic robot, officially debuted in August this year. CyberOne is 177cm tall, weighs 52kg, and goes by the stage name "Tie Da".
According to Xiaomi, the "Iron University" uses a variety of technologies, can sense 45 human semantic emotions, and distinguish 85 environmental semantics; Equipped with Xiaomi's self-developed whole-body control algorithm, it can coordinate the movement of 21 joints; Equipped with Mi Sense visuospatial system, 3D reconstruction of the real world; The whole body has 5 kinds of joint drive, the peak torque is 300Nm.
Xiaomi recently unveiled the latest development of its robot, Tieda, at IEEE Spectrum in a video featuring a drum set that highlights the CyberOne's precise, coordinated full-body movements over long periods.
Using music files alone, Tieda can spot itself and coordinate hands and feet to control the rhythm. Xiaomi said the second generation of Tieda will be upgraded and more sensors will be added to the hands.
