    How the inverter and variable frequency power supply work

   

    The frequency converter is a power control device that converts the power frequency power source into another frequency by using the on/off function of the power semiconductor device. Can be divided into AC-AC inverter, AC-DC-AC inverter. AC-AC can directly convert AC power into AC power with variable frequency and voltage; AC-DC-AC inverter first rectifies AC power to DC through rectifier, and then DC through inverter The current becomes an alternating current whose frequency and voltage are both variable.

 


    The difference between variable frequency power supply and frequency converter:


   

    The whole circuit of the variable frequency power supply is composed of alternating current, alternating current, and filtering. Therefore, the output voltage and current waveforms are pure sine waves, which are very close to the ideal AC power supply. It can output grid voltage and frequency in any country in the world.


     The frequency converter is composed of alternating current, alternating current (modulated wave) and other circuits. The standard of the frequency converter is called the frequency converter. The waveform of the output voltage is a pulse square wave, and there are many harmonic components. The voltage and frequency are proportionally changed at the same time, and cannot be adjusted separately, which does not meet the requirements of the AC power supply. In principle, the power supply cannot be used, and it is generally only used for the speed regulation of three-phase asynchronous motors.
