According to the latest news, the EU legislature has overwhelmingly approved a resolution by 582 votes to 40, which aims to push the European Commission to take action to unify charging solutions (USB-C ports) for smartphones. That means Apple will have to do something to resolve the current interface controversy when it comes to selling its products in Europe.
At present, the latest iPad Pro 11-inch and 12.9-inch tablets use USB-C interface, but Apple's iPhone still uses Lightning input interface. This move of the EU is bound to affect the sales of Apple's devices in Europe. After all, there are a lot of active Apple users.
