Waterproof junction box
The following figure shows the waterproof junction box. Compared with the splash proof junction box, the structure of other parts is the same except that the connection between cover 2 and junction box body L is different.
The structural feature of the waterproof junction box is that the cover 2 of the junction box and the junction box body 1 are connected by threads. Depending on the tightening force of the cover and the junction box body, make it evenly press the sealing ring made of heat-resistant black rubber around the whole circumference, so that even if there is serious water vapor or harmful gas, it will be blocked by the sealing ring well sealed and will not penetrate into the inside of the junction box.
The waterproof performance of the waterproof junction box shall withstand a distance of 5 meters, spray water in any direction with a faucet with a nozzle diameter of about 25 mm, and the water pressure in front of the nozzle outlet shall not be less than 2 kg / cm, lasting for 5 minutes. After the test, open the junction box cover to observe, and no water shall penetrate into the inside of the junction box.
Thermocouple and thermal resistance of junction box with waterproof performance are applicable to the site with frequent water jet, for example, the equipment in mildewy days or indoor needs frequent cleaning. In addition, the waterproof junction box is easy to assemble and disassemble. After the cover of the junction box is opened, it is constructed that it is chained on the junction box body, so it will not be lost. These are more suitable for high-altitude equipment.
