Since Musk's arrival, Twitter managers have asked some employees to work 12-hour shifts, seven days a week, in response to a looming layoff crisis, according to CNBC. To meet Mr. Musk's deadlines, some managers said they slept in the company's offices on Friday and Saturday nights. Employees have also expressed fears that their careers at Twitter could be over if they don't get the job done by early November.
