The USB-C port will become a truly universal charging port
Oct 11, 2022| The USB-C port will become a truly universal charging port
As the iPhone will uniformly adopt USB-C port, USB-C port will become a universal charging port in the true sense. A USB-C ecological prospect with simpler operation, larger transmission power, faster speed and richer application scenarios has been gradually developed.
Of course, the real reason USB-C can "unify the world" is its technical superiority in charging power, data transmission, and operation. With the continuous iteration and upgrading of the protocol, the latest PD3.1 has supported the application scenarios of the maximum 48V5A. In order to make the new features of PD3.1 better and faster to meet consumers, Huinentai Semiconductor, as a member of the USB-IF association, has completed the overall product layout around the USB-C ecological chain, and developed and mass-produced a number of products.
It includes the 28V5A Source side protocol control chip HUSB362, which can withstand voltage higher than 35V, and the next-generation eMarker chip HUSB332C, which can also withstand voltage higher than 35V. Its new fast charge protocol chip HUSB361 is specially designed for 15W~65W power supply, and can be used in multiple fast charge source design, supporting 20W+45W; 18 w + 45 w; 25W+30W and other power distribution. At present, the fast charge of iPhone series is 18W~20W. HUSB361 provides 65W fast charge design, which can completely cover the charging demand of iPhone.
