The Type C port of SMC SC9711 is DFP port, which supports Type C protocol and USB PD 2.0/3.0 protocol

SC9711 is a dual-port fast-charge SoC chip with high integration and support of fast charge protocol. A 40V 6A high-efficiency synchronous step-down controller, a group of Type C interfaces and two groups of DPDM fast charge protocol control interfaces are integrated on the chip. Only A few peripheral devices are needed to realize dual-USB quick charging (Type C+USB A) on a single chip, providing up to 65W charging power for portable devices such as computers, tablets and mobile phones.

Southchip SC9711 can also work together with dual chips to achieve dual C port fast charging (including 2C1A and other configurations). Without adding MCU control, two SC9711 can communicate with each other to realize the function of full power output when a single port works, and automatic power distribution when double C port works at the same time.

The Type C port of SC9711 is DFP port, which supports Type C protocol and USB PD 2.0/3.0 protocol. At the same time, its DPDM interface can also support Apple 2.4A mode /BC1.2/DCP/HVDCP/FCP/SCP and other fast charge protocols. USB-A port supports automatic detection of insertion and removal of charging devices, which can identify the access status of Apple charging cable; Intelligent compatible with A variety of mainstream quick charge agreements, including apple 2.4 A model/BC1.2 / DCP/HVDCP/AFC/FCP/SCP and so on A variety of protocols.

Nanxin Technology SC9711 adopts 36-pin 4mmx5mm QFN package, the maximum can support 65W total output power, double port output support CC/CV mode, support NTC temperature monitoring, provide over voltage, over current, short circuit, over temperature and other multiple protection mechanism, effectively protect chip and board system.
