The M2 Pro MacBook Pro will be available in November, via a press release

With Apple just launching the M2 iPad Pro, iPad 10 and Apple TV 4K this week, attention will turn to the Mac line next. According to Macrumors, Apple is planning to introduce new high-end MacBook Pro and Mac mini models with M2 chips in November.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, macOS Ventura will be unveiled on Monday, Oct. 24, and will include support for the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. That means the latest MacBook Pro will be released soon. Apple has released new Macs in November several times in recent years, Gurman said, so it's likely to do the same this November.

The new MacBook Pro could have more powerful M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, which have yet to be released. For reference, Apple has released the M2 chip with an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, 100GB/s memory bandwidth (50% more than the M1), support for up to 24GB of unified memory, and 2TB solid state drives. The MacBook Pro with the M2 chip is 1.4 times faster than the 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 chip in video editing, image processing and gaming performance.

In terms of appearance, Gurman says the new MacBook Pro won't change much, which means the bangs will continue to appear on the new macbook Pro. And, as with the new iPad Pro, Apple doesn't plan to hold a separate event for the new MacBook Pro, which is expected to be announced via press release and then available directly on its website.
