So the new iPhone really doesn't smell good? Don't worry, there's a better option -- wait for the iPhone SE 4. The next iPhone SE, according to new leaks, smells really good.
It's no secret that phone makers have a habit of devolving high-end specs year after year, and Apple is no exception. According to Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consulting, the iPhone SE 4 will see an overhaul of its look, moving away from the historical, round physical Home button and offering a full-screen design with bangs.
Not only will it look modern, but the screen will also get bigger. Ross Young predicts it will have a 6.1-inch LCD display, giving it more visible area. That means it could be using an iPhone XR or iPhone 11 mold.
Apart from the screen, another advantage of the iPhone SE 4 is performance. If nothing else, the iPhone SE will continue to be a performance cannon with the same A16 processor as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 Pro. In keeping the same processor as the original iPhone, the iPhone SE is quite generous.
Consumers considering the iPhone SE tend to be more budget-conscious and will naturally want their phones to last as long as possible. Starting with the iPhone 14, only the Pro model will get a new processor every year. From the point of view of pragmatism, since it is the same processor, spend a thousand or two thousand less to buy the SE, how fragrant!
