Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 series next year will have the same four-model layout as this year's iPhone 14 series, according to research firm TrendForce. The four iPhone 15 models will also be differentiated by processor. TrendForce also noted that the entire iPhone 15 series will ditch the Lightning port in favor of USB Type-C. The iPhone 15 Pro will also have 8GB of memory, allowing for better performance of the A17 chip. The main camera of the iPhone 15 Pro series will be upgraded to an 8P lens, and for the first time the iPhone 15 Pro Max will also have a submersivity camera, improving its telephoto performance.
