The fourth generation iPad Air will have a 10.8-inch screen and will not use the ProMotion display used on the iPad Pro to control cost and weight, while the camera will also have a lower configuration. The third-generation iPad Air was released alongside the fifth-generation iPad Mini in 2019, but this year users may not see both ipads. What's more, sources say the next iPad Mini will still use the Lightning port.

Analyst Ming Chi Kuo has previously reported that Apple will release a 10.8-inch iPad in the second half of 2020 (not yet confirmed as the Air series), and a larger iPad mini in the first half of next year (upgraded to 8.5 to 9 pounds)

While the new USB-C port is expected to improve charging efficiency, Apple's standard USB-C charger will most likely remain 18W. Apple's official 30W USB-C charger currently costs 340 yuan.
