Several typical processes for wave soldering

A1.1 Single-machine wave soldering process

a. Component lead forming a printed board paste solder mask tape (as needed) --- insert components --- printed board into the welder fixture --- coating flux --- preheating --- wave crest Welding - cooling - remove the printed board - tear off the solder mask - two - inspection - - Xin L welding - - cleaning - - inspection - - into a special transport box;

b. Printed board with solder mask tape --- into the template --- insert components --- blister --- cut feet --- remove the printed board from the template --- printed board welding machine Fixtures --- coating flux --- preheating --- wave soldering (fine welding flat wave and shock wave) --- cooling --- remove the printed board --- tear off the plastic film and solder mask --- Inspection --- repair welding --- cleaning -- inspection --- into a special transport box.

A1.2 Online Wave Soldering Process

Mount the printed board on the fixture of the welding machine - manual insertion of components - coating flux - preheating - dip soldering - cold to the mouth - foot cutting - Brush cutting chips --- spraying flux --- preheating --- wave soldering (fine welding flat wave and shock wave) --- cooling --- cleaning --- printed board off welding machine -- a test -- - Repair welding - - cleaning - - inspection - - into a special transport box.

B1 wave soldering machine basic operating procedures

B1.1 Preparation

a. Check that the ventilation equipment used in the wave soldering machine is good;

b. Check if the wave soldering machine timing switch is good;

c. Check that the tin bath temperature indicator is normal.

Method: Adjust the temperature indicator up and down, and then use a thermometer to measure the temperature at 10-15 mm below the surface of the tin bath to determine if the temperature changes with it:

d. Check that the preheater system is normal.

Method: Open the preheater switch to check if it is warming up and the temperature is normal;

e. Check the operation of the cutting knife.

Method: adjust the height of the blade according to the thickness of the printed board and the length of the lead of the remaining component, then tighten and stabilize the blade, turn on the rotation of the blade, and finally check whether the safety device is malfunctioning;

f. Check if the supply of compressed air in the flux container is normal;

Method: pour the flux, adjust the intake valve, foam the flux after starting the machine, use the sample printed board to adjust the foam to 1/2 of the thickness of the plate, and then tighten the eye pressure valve, not to be officially operated. Move this valve again, only open the air inlet switch;

g. After all the above procedures are normal, the required various process parameters can be preset to the relevant position of the device.

Operational rules

a. Wave soldering machines should be assigned 1 to 2 trained full-time staff for operation management, and can carry out general maintenance;

b. Before starting the machine, the operator should wear roving gloves, take cotton yarn to wipe the equipment clean, and inject a proper amount of lubricating oil into the oil filling hole;

c. Operators are required to wear rubber anti-corrosion gloves to remove waste and dirt around the tin bath and flux tank;

d, flammable materials such as gasoline, alcohol, cotton yarn, etc. shall not be stored around the equipment in the operation room;

e. When the welder is running, the operator should wear a respirator and wear heat-resistant and flame-resistant gloves for operation;

f. Non-workers are not allowed to enter the wave soldering operation room;

g. Smoking is not allowed in the workplace;

h. Wear work caps, shoes, and overalls when performing the insertion work.

B2 single-machine wave soldering operation process

B2.1 Turn on the ventilation switch.

B2.2 boot

a. Turn on the power;

b. Turn on the solder bath heater;

c. Opening the air inlet switch of the foaming sprayer;

d. When the solder temperature reaches the specified data, check the tin level. If the tin level is too low, add solder in time;

e. Turn on the wave soldering air pump switch and adjust the tinning depth with a special fixture equipped with a printed board;

f. Remove residual oxide from the tin surface and add anti-oxidant after the tin surface is clean:

g. Check the flux, if the liquid level is too low, add appropriate amount of flux;

h. Check and adjust the flux density to meet the requirements;

i. Check if the flux foam layer is good;

j. Turn on the preheater temperature switch and adjust to the desired temperature position; k. Adjust the angle of the drive rail;

l. Turn on the conveyor switch and adjust the speed to the desired value;

m. Opening a cooling fan;

n. Loading the welding fixture into the rail;

o. The printed board is loaded into the fixture, the clamp groove is tightly attached around the board, the force is moderate, and then the clamp is placed at the beginning of the transfer guide;

p. Before the welding operation, the inclined components are righted up by the special person, and the corrected components are verified to be correct;

q. The tall components must be reinforced before welding and fixed on the printed board.

B3 online wave soldering machine operation process

B3.1 Follow the procedures of a-k in B2.1 and B2.2 in Chapter B2.

B3.2 Continue the operation of this unit

a. The plug-in worker wears the gauze gloves as required. (If there is a static sensitive device to wear a conductive wristband), the plug-in worker should insist on running the equipment before the station;

b. Adjust the transport speed according to the actual situation to match the welding speed;

c. opening a cooling fan;

d. Open the cutting machine;

e. Place the fixture on the rail and adjust it to the size of the desired soldering board;

f. Perform P and q in B2.2;

g. After the program is completed, the wave soldering machine limit switch and the welding operation switch can be opened for insertion and welding.

B4 post weld operation

a. Turn off the air supply;

b. Turn off the preheater switch;

c. Turn off the cutting machine switch; turn off the cleaning machine switch;

d. Adjust the transport speed to zero and turn off the transfer switch;

e. Turn off the main power switch;

f. The cooled flux is taken out, and after being filtered, the indicator can still be used continuously, and the container and the spray port are wiped clean;

g. Clean the wave soldering machine and fixture.

B5 Management during welding

a. The operator must stick to his position and check the operation of the equipment at any time;

b. The operator should check the quality of the welding plate, such as the occurrence of the welding point, such as a plate of solder joints more than 2% should immediately stop the inspection;

c. Timely and accurately record the original records of equipment operation and specific data records of solder joint quality;

The soldered printed boards should be inserted into the special transport boxes separately, and they should not be pressed against each other, and they are not allowed to be stacked (if there are static sensitive components, anti-static transport boxes must be used).
