Qualcomm yesterday released its 5th generation modem to antenna 5G solution -- Snapdragon X70 5G modem and RF System. Snapdragon X70 introduces the world's first 5G AI processor in modem and RF systems, aiming to leverage AI capabilities to improve 5G performance, including 10Gbps 5G download speed, low latency, superior network coverage, and energy efficiency.
In terms of 5G performance, Snapdragon X70 not only supports 5G transmission speed of 10Gbps, but also is the only modem and RF system in the world that can support all 5G commercial frequency bands from 600MHz to 41GHz. Support downlink 4 carrier aggregation, (based entirely on the Sub-6GHz band of 4 carriers, such as two FDD carriers plus two TDD carriers), while in the MMwave band, Snapdragon X70 can support up to 8 carrier aggregation.
