Apple didn't announce a new iPad at its fall event, but there have been persistent rumors that the new iPad will have a full-screen design that will look more impressive than previous models. Now in the latest news, developers have found that the new iPad device will use Type USB-C port in the iOS 12.1 beta firmware.
According to sources, developer Steven T-S tested the App on the iOS 12.1 beta firmware and noticed "4K resolution" on the External Displays option. That means the new iPad supports 4K video output, which is critical if it can't be done with a Lightning to HDMI adapter. According to industry science popularization, 4K video output needs to be achieved through Type USB-C interface.
