Network cable-twisted pair
A network cable is required to connect a local area network. Common network cables in a LAN mainly include twisted pair cables, coaxial cables, and optical cables. Twisted pair is a data transmission line made of many wire pairs. Its characteristics are cheap, so it is widely used for general telephone lines. Used for connection with RJ45 crystal head.
There are two types: STP and UTP. UTP is commonly used.
There are two standards for twisted pair termination: T568A and T568B. There are two main methods of twisted pair connection: straight cable and cross cable. All ends of the straight cable crystal head comply with the T568B standard. There is a one-to-one correspondence between the opposite ends of each twisted-pair wire, and the same color is held in the corresponding grooves at both ends of the crystal piece. It is mainly used to connect the switch (or hub) normal port with the switch (or hub) uplink port, or to switch the normal port to connect to the computer network card. The end of the crystal head of the crossover cable follows the 568A and the other end uses the 568B standard. That is, A crystal heads 1 and 2 correspond to B crystal heads 3 and 6, and A crystal heads 3 and 6 correspond to B crystal heads 1 and 2. It is mainly used for general ports on the switch (or hub) and connects to a normal port or network card on the switch (or hub) to connect to the network card.
For horizontal line termination in cabling projects, GB 50312 accepts either T568B or T568A, but cannot be installed at the same time, and usually ends with T568B.
