Tesla CEO Elon Musk has completed a $44 billion deal to take Twitter private, CNBC and the Washington Post reported. It marked the end of an affair that lasted about half a year. Within minutes of closing the deal, Mr. Musk fired a number of Twitter executives, Twitter engineers were no longer able to make code changes, and Tesla engineers came in to check, according to people familiar with the matter.
