Microsoft says it will create a mobile game store for the Xbox

Microsoft is set to launch its Xbox Mobile Games store, aiming to offer games for mobile devices, in a bid to challenge Apple and Google's mobile app stores, foreign media reported. Building on Activision Blizzard's existing community of gamers, Xbox will look to expand the Xbox Store to mobile devices to attract gamers to the new Xbox mobile platform. Microsoft also said it bought Activision Blizzard because of the ability of mobile games to monetize. Microsoft's Xbox mobile game store may offer a zero-cut plan to attract developers.
