LCD party ecstasy! Apple's iPhone SE 4 revealed
Oct 11, 2022| LCD party ecstasy! Apple's iPhone SE 4 revealed
The iPhone 14 series is now officially on sale. With the new iPhone lineup, Apple scrapped the mini version and introduced the larger iPhone 14 Plus.
This makes the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro the smallest version of the current iPhone lineup.
Previous reports have suggested that Apple may use a smaller design for the SE in the coming updates to replace the mini. But the latest news suggests that may not be the case.
According to sources, the fourth-generation iPhone SE will have a 6.1-inch LCD display with a "notch" at the top of the display, which is also known as a "bang-screen" design.
However, the leak did not give further details of the design. As a result, it's unclear whether the iPhone SE will include a TrueDepth camera array in the screen notch, as other iPhone models do, to facilitate facial recognition.
In the past, there have been rumors that the next iPhone SE will not have Face ID support, but will use Touch ID like previous models to keep costs down.
