IPhone 6 listed as obsolete by Apple was trending today
Oct 03, 2022| "IPhone 6 listed as obsolete by Apple" was trending today.
Apple's latest update to its list of obsolete products includes the iPhone 6 model, more than five years after the device was discontinued, Sina Tech reported. Apple's iPhone 6 Plus was added to the list in February.
Apple typically classifies products that have been off the market for five years as "obsolete" and will no longer be available for repair. However, depending on the availability of parts, the Apple Store and Apple Authorized service providers can continue to provide repair services for up to two years after a device is classified as obsolete.
The iPhone 6 was released in September 2014 alongside the iPhone 6 Plus and was discontinued in 2016.
