According to foreign media reports, many iPhone users have taken to Apple's official forums and social media platforms to complain about the poor battery life of their iOS 16 upgrades, including older models such as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12. In response to this, Apple said that enabling tactile feedback for the keyboard in iOS 16 May consume power, so users who encounter battery depletion should try to turn it off.
In addition to the above, Spotlight's slow search performance was also a point of ridicule, with users reporting that Spotlight sometimes took up to 10 seconds to load results on iOS 16, and sometimes failed to load at all. In response to this particular Bug, multiple users reported that resetting all Settings significantly improved the performance of Spotlight search, and Apple acknowledged the problem and stressed it would be fixed in a subsequent update.
On top of that, the iPhone 13 Pro's signal logo suddenly disappeared from the top status bar. What's more, according to user feedback, the top status bar of the screenshot is just the Wi-Fi and battery logo, while the signal bar in the middle is empty. Apple did not respond to a request for comment on the exact cause of the problem at press time.
