In the Geekbench 5 test, the A14 chip scored 1,583 for a single core and 4,198 for a multi-core
Oct 05, 2022| In the Geekbench 5 test, the A14 chip scored 1,583 for a single core and 4,198 for a multi-core. The A13's single-core and multicore scores were 1329 and 3468, respectively, which is an improvement on the A14 Bionic chip. The Snapdragon 865 scored 3495 (multi-core) and 930 (single-core).

Besides the upcoming iPhone model, the only phone expected to feature a 5nm chip this year is the Huawei Mate 40. The first 5 nm Snapdragon chip will be the Snapdragon 875, which will be produced by Samsung and appear in new phones starting next year.
The A14 Bionic has six CPU cores, including two high-performance cores designed to handle complex tasks. The remaining four CPU cores are general performance cores, designed for general work. The A14's faster neural engine for machine learning includes 16 cores (twice as many as the A13). And the new chip uses Apple's latest quad-core GPU.
