The characteristic of this kind of power adapter is that the output voltage and the input voltage are isolated, at the same time, the I / O has high electrical strength, and the circuit isolation is realized by the primary / secondary of the pulse transformer. Therefore, it is also called pulse transformer coupling power adapter or parallel switching voltage regulator. However, at present, this kind of power adapter is not the same as the parallel power adapter in theory. The power adapter is directly connected to the load, so it is more appropriate to call it the isolated power adapter. This kind of power adapter circuit changes greatly. It can be simply divided into the following categories:
Single ended self excitation type. The power adapter is a self-excited oscillation tube, which completes on / off control in the process of intermittent oscillation. The power adapter and the secondary rectifying circuit actually constitute the DC / DC converter, and the output voltage of the DC / DC converter controlled by the output voltage constitutes the power adapter. Therefore, it is also called DC converter power adapter.
Single ended allodyne type. There are independent pulse generator and control circuit, output controllable pulse, control the on / off of power adapter, constitute the DC converter process of other excitation. The output voltage is sampled as the control driving pulse to achieve the stability of the output voltage.
The isolated power adapter consists of half bridge and bridge converter. Whether self excitation or other excitation, two half bridge power adapters are connected in series in the power supply circuit, and the neutral point is connected with the pulse transformer. The two tubes are controlled by different driving pulses of different time sequence, turn on / off in turn, and form different phase pulses in the pulse transformer. Bidirectional symmetrical pulses provide stable voltage to the load by full wave rectification. The four power adapters of the bridge circuit are connected by the bridge, and the pulse transformer (load circuit) is connected between the two midpoint of the opposite arm. The four power adapters are driven respectively to make the two power adapters of the opposite arm turn on / off in turn, forming bidirectional symmetrical pulse in the pulse transformer, and supplying power to the load after full wave rectification. The maximum output power of half bridge circuit can reach 500W, and the bridge circuit can reach above 500W.
