According to digital blogger @Digital_Animal, the Mate X3 will return to a foldable screen design, similar to the Mate Xs. In terms of image and screen, it will adopt the advantages of Huawei P50 series, compute optical image system and high frequency PWM dimming OLED screen. He also said that with an 8-inch foldable phone, one screen is removed from the outside and the corresponding screen components are reduced in thickness, making it easier to make the phone thinner and more aesthetically pleasing. The classic Mate X series styling also retains a gripping bezel design that unfolds like a book and is more comfortable to hold.
In addition, Huawei's MateX3 will only use a limited number of Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon processors, and will not update the Kirin series processors in the near future. On the screen side, however, there is hope for home-made eye-protection screens: Class 1920 PWM dimming and LTPO power-saving technology.
