How fast is Apple's iPhone fast charging?
Sep 27, 2022| Taking the Apple iPhone 13 series as an example, the charging head network conducted charging tests on the iPhone 13 Pro Max with five chargers of different powers, 5W, 18W, 20W, 30W and 96W, and plotted the five charging processes as a graph. The charging speed of Apple’s 5W tofu head is outdated. It takes 1 hour to charge 23%, 2 hours to charge 46%, and it takes 5 hours to fully charge.
In terms of PD fast charging, the 18W PD charger charges 36% in half an hour, 75% in 1 hour, and it takes 2 hours and 21 minutes to fully charge. The 20W charger charges 42% in half an hour, 79% in 1 hour, and takes 2 hours and 11 minutes to fully charge. The 30W charger charges 47% in half an hour, 82% in 1 hour, and takes 2 hours and 9 minutes to fully charge. Finally, the Apple 96W PD charger charges 48% in half an hour, 84% in 1 hour, and it takes 1 hour and 49 minutes to fully charge.
The five charging curves of the iPhone 13 show that the Apple 5W tofu head can be charged to 33% in 1 hour, 65% in 2 hours, and it takes 3 hours and 40 minutes to fully charge.
In the PD fast charging stage, the 18W PD charger charges 48% in half an hour and 82% in 1 hour. It takes 2 hours and 2 minutes to fully charge. The 20W charger charges 52% in half an hour, 84% in 1 hour, and takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to fully charge. The 30W charger charges 54% in half an hour, 85% in 1 hour, and takes 1 hour and 44 minutes to fully charge. Finally, the Apple 96W PD charger charges 56% in half an hour, 85% in 1 hour, and it takes 2 hours and 3 minutes to fully charge.
