According to The Verge, today Heart of the Olympic unveiled its new M43 frame camera, the OM-5, which will cost $1,199.99 and go on sale next month. According to reports, the previously released OM-1 is the first camera of the OM System, but it still has the Olympus brand Logo on the body. Now, the new OM-5 has changed the Olympus Logo to OM System. In terms of parameters, the OM-5 uses a 20-megapixel M43 frame COMS, is equipped with a 6.5-speed five-axis anti-shaking system, is equipped with 2.36 megapixel OLED electronic viewfinder, and supports 4K 30 fps video shooting. An important new feature is the support for vertical video shooting. The camera has yet to be released in China.
