On May 28, 2021, the Telecom Terminal Industry Association released the fusion fast charging standard "Technical Specification for Mobile Terminal Fusion Fast Charging". This standard aims to solve the problem of complex, changeable and incompatible fast charging standards on the market, and also plays a positive role in promoting user experience, energy conservation and environmental protection.
It is worth mentioning that in the development process of UFCS fast charging standard, Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi and other leading manufacturers broke the inherent technical standards and made great contributions to the development of unified technical standards for fast charging of mobile terminals. At the same time, thanks to the joint efforts of these manufacturers, UFCS fast charging standard can meet the needs of the long-term development of fast charging ecology.
UFCS Fast Charging Specification, which stands for Universal Fast Charging Specification, is led by the Green Energy Working Group (WG10) and led by ICT, Huawei, OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi. And has been honored, Siliconjie, Ruixin micro, Lihui technology, Onbao electronics, electronic cool network and other terminal, chip enterprises and industrial partners strong support.
According to UFCS quick charge specification, the standard adopts continuous regulation mode, and the output voltage is divided into four programmable gears (5V, 10V, 20V and 30V) (similar to USB PD3.0 PPS voltage regulation). Among them, the programmable voltage range of 5V gear is 3.4V-5.5V, the programmable voltage range of 10V gear is 5.5V-12V, the programmable voltage range of 20V gear is 12V-21V, and the programmable voltage range of 30V voltage is 21V-36V.
According to the current market analysis, Schitec knows that the fast charge standard in the market shows diversified development. In particular, mobile phone manufacturers need to invest in research and development to reflect their own characteristics and differentiation, so as to obtain unique selling points in the market publicity. Fortunately, USB-C ports have become the first choice for phone, laptop and tablet manufacturers. Except, of course, for the Apple iPhone.
