Google violated advertising regulations and was severely punished by the EU

The British "Guardian" reported on the 20th that Google  was fined 1.49 billion euros for abuse of its monopoly on online advertising, EU Competition Commissioner Margaret Vistag said that Google Restricting some customer sites from advertising from third parties, preventing competitors from “fair competition and innovation” in the online advertising market. The committee said in the report that Google imposes anti-competitive requirements on companies using its search technology. Google said in a statement: "In the next few months, it will be further "upgraded" to give competitors more visibility in Europe."

In July last year, the EU issued a $5 billion fine for Google’s dominance of the Android mobile operating system. In 2017, the European Union determined that Google favored its shopping services and imposed a $2.7 billion fine on the company.
