Don't hesitate to switch to USB Type-C.

After Apple's removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack from the iPhone 7, it appears that designs that use only a single interface are increasingly accepted by the market. The same is true for the Android camp. HTC also discards the headset jack in its own HTC 10 EVO, leaving only one USB Type-C port.

It seems that this is a test for users, especially during this period of pain. However, we should accept the fact that only a single transmission is left. Not only USB Type-C, but also the long-used MicroUSB will be fully replaced by MiniUSB in the future. The port that will be lightweight in the future is already in progress. Sooner or later everyone will enter the "C" world.

First, there are many benefits to using a single USB Type-C. First of all, because of the single port, a large number of maintenance costs are reduced, because only one port needs to be repaired when it is broken. Instead of having to replace the components of the earphone hole like in the past, the earphone jack has to replace the components of the headset hole. All of them are USB Type-C components. It will be cheaper to change.

Second, since USB Type-C supports bidirectional plugging, it can prevent error directions. In addition, the number of USB-Type-C plugs per side will be half that of Type-A, thus extending the useful life. Third, the USB Type-C allows the mobile phone to share power with the computer. In case of emergency, the phone battery can be used to supply power to the laptop, which can be used in emergencies.

Fourth, USB Type-C can directly output image frames in addition to general data transmission. The user can export the screen of the mobile phone to the screen without having to purchase a dedicated influencing adapter. This is very convenient.

Although the flagship smart phones of most of the major manufacturers have now abandoned the traditional USB Type-A design, the design of MicroUSB can also be seen in the mid-range and low-end specifications, especially the low-end phones because USB Type- C. Costs are higher for manufacturers and users. For users, once the USB Type-C mobile phone is replaced, it means that all products related to mobile phones, including homes, offices, and automobiles, must be replaced or additional adapters must be purchased.
