Do you know what are the fast charge agreements?
Dec 24, 2021| Today let’s talk about the fast charging.
lHuawei fast charge
Huawei’s fast charge protocol is divided into FCP (Fast Charge Protocol) and SCP (Super Charge Protocol). The former was used more in the early days and belongs to the genre of high-voltage fast charging. SCP is now mainly used. At present, Huawei SuperCharge super fast charging products support up to 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
For example: Huawei Super Fast Charger (Max 66 W) supports 6A high current, is compatible with SCP, FCP and QC 2.0 charging protocol, support HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro, HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro+, HUAWEI Mate 40 RS Porsche 66 W Huawei super fast charge.
lXiaomi Quick Charge
MI Turbo Charge currently has 120W, 67W, 55W, 33W and other fast charging power gears. Due to the customized interface design, Xiaomi Quick Charge must use the original charger and original data cable to achieve high-power fast charge based on USB-A to Type-C.
In the early days, after Xiaomi realized the popularization of high-power fast charging technology through the magic modified PD fast charging protocol, it vigorously developed its own private fast charging protocol.
lPD fast charge
The PD fast charging protocol is a fast charging standard launched by the USB standardization organization, and the USB power supply extension standard that can supply power to a maximum of 100W. Under normal circumstances, both ends of the PD protocol charging cable use Type-C interfaces, but there are also cases where mobile phone manufacturers use Type-A interfaces at the power supply end through magic changes.
Due to the powerful power supply performance and wide versatility, the PD fast charging protocol is not only widely adopted by mobile devices, but also applied to notebook computers and even monitors and other devices. In particular, Apple directly adopted the PD fast charging standard as the fast charging protocol for Apple devices. For example, the latest iPhone 12 series models support 20W PD fast charging, but it does not come with a charger and needs to be purchased by users. Under this scenario, UNITEK's 20W PD fast charging head brings new choices to fruit fans.

lQC fast charge
The QC fast charging protocol is a fast charging technology developed by the well-known chip company Qualcomm for the Snapdragon processor. The latest version of QC4.0 supports 3.6-20V fluctuating voltage, and theoretically can achieve a charging power of up to 100W (20V/5A), and It is backward compatible with the previous QC3.0 and QC2.0 fast charging, and supports USB Type-C and USB PD.
At present, most mobile phones using Qualcomm's new Snapdragon processor support Qualcomm QC fast charge protocol, and charging heads compatible with Qualcomm's QC fast charge protocol are also more common. If you are using a mobile phone equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, you only need to use the USB fast charging data cable and QC charger to perform fast charging.
In addition to the above, other mobile phone manufacturers have adopted different fast charging protocols, such as OPPO’s VOOC flash charging, OnePlus’ WARP, realme’s DART flash charging, vivo’s Flash Charge and other fast charging protocols. Therefore, when you choose to buy a charging head, you must first figure out which fast charging protocol your mobile phone battery follows.
