Oct 05, 2022| Details of the new features of the iPhone 14 Pro have been revealed, and it works so well with iOS 16
MacRumors reports today that a source says the iPhone 14 Pro will support the call-screen feature and that its status bar will undergo major changes due to the new perforated screen design. The iPhone 14 Pro's screen punch will look like a 'pill' rather than an 'exclamation point'. Apple used software optimization to "seamlessly" connect the two punch holes in the exclamation mark, making it look like a full punch.
The new lock screen in iOS 16 will interact directly with the iPhone 14 Pro's screen-like display, integrating with notifications, wallpapers' depth-of-field effects, and user-customized color depth.
Due to the increased space available at the top of the screen, the iPhone 14 Pro's status bar is also said to be changing, moving the phone's signal bar to the left and displaying full, percentage-charged battery ICONS on the lock screen and notification center.
The source detailed that the iPhone 14 Pro will have the following changes to the display:

- The background of lock wallpapers with depth effects will completely darken while the foreground will fade away when the infoscreen mode is enabled. In addition, depending on the user's customization, the foreground will have a custom color glow.

- The gadget will be visible when the screen is displayed, but will fade in and out at a set time to prevent the OLED from burning.
- Users can customize what is displayed on the call screen, but the wallpaper, color selection, fonts and gadgets are the same as those on the lock screen.
- Notifications will be visible for 10 seconds when the screen is displayed. Once the screen is awakened, notifications will roll in from the bottom and eventually appear as a count, stack or list. A notification counter may be added to the infoscreen interface.
