LFAB is Texas Instruments' second 12-inch fab to begin manufacturing semiconductors in 2022, providing customers with the manufacturing capacity they will need for decades to come. RFAB2, based in Richardson, Texas, began initial production in September.
Located in the heart of the Silicon Slopes community in Utah, less than an hour from Salt Lake City, Texas Instruments LFAB is the only 12-inch semiconductor wafer facility in Utah.
