Capacitance symbol
The symbol of the capacitor is also divided into the domestic standard representation and the international electronic symbol representation, but the capacitance symbol is similar in both domestic and international representations. The only difference is that in the case of a polar capacitor, the domestic one is a horizontal line below the empty basket. And the international is the ordinary capacitor plus a "+" symbol to represent the positive.
Third, the unit of capacitance
The basic unit of capacitance is: F (method), in addition to mF (millimeter), μF (microfarad), nF (nano) and pF (pseudo). Since the capacity of the capacitor F is very large, we usually see units of μF, nF, and pF instead of units of F.
The specific conversion between them is as follows:
1F=1000000μF
1μF=1000nF=1000000pF
Fourth, the withstand voltage of the capacitor Unit: V (volts)
Each capacitor has its withstand voltage value, which is one of the important parameters of the capacitor. The nominal withstand voltage values of common non-polar capacitors are: 63V, 100V, 160V, 250V, 400V, 600V, 1000V, etc. The withstand voltage of a polar capacitor is relatively lower than that of a non-polar capacitor. The withstand voltage values are: 4V, 6.3V, 10V, 16V, 25V, 35V, 50V, 63V, 80V, 100V, 220V, 400V, and the like.
