According to Korean media Chosun-biz, supply chain sources said BOE and Apple signed a new contract earlier this month, and BOE will supply Apple with OLED displays for the iPhone 14 starting in June. Fifty million screens will be available for the 6.1-inch version of the iPhone 14.
Apple's iPhone 14 lineup this year will come in four models: the iPhone 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, with screen sizes of 6.1 inches, 6.7 inches, 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. Both Pro models will continue to use LTPO OLED screens and support an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, exclusively supplied by Samsung. The two standard versions, which will use regular LTPS OLED panels and only support a 60Hz refresh rate, will be supplied by BOE and LG.
