Basic interpretation of triode

Transistor [1] (also known as transistor) is a general term for the three-pin amplifier in Chinese meaning. The triode we often say may be several devices as shown.

It can be seen that although they are called triodes, the sayings in English are very different. The term triode is actually a metaphorical vocabulary unique to Chinese.

"Triode" (Electronic Transistor) This is the only English translation of the "triode" in the English-Chinese dictionary. It is related to the initial appearance of the electronic triode. It is the original item of the word triode. The rest of the devices called triodes in Chinese cannot be translated into Triodes when actually translated.

Note: All three appear to be FETs. In fact, MOSFETs and V-channel FETs are Unipolar and correspond to Bipolar. They can also be collectively referred to as Unipolar Junction Transistors.

The J-type FET is a non-insulated FET, and both MOS FET and VMOS are insulated FETs.

VMOS is a new type of high-current, high-magnification (cross-channel) power transistor that is improved on the basis of MOS. The difference is that the V-shaped slot is used to greatly increase the amplification factor and operating current of the MOS transistor, but it also increases significantly. The input capacitance of MOS is a high-power improved product of MOS tube, but the structure has been greatly different from the traditional MOS. VMOS is only enhanced and does not have a depletion MOS transistor that is unique to MOS.
